After we receive your order we will contact you by email to clarify which sounds you would like installed on your module.

The SFX7.0 advanced R/C sound module is completely setup free. Just wire it in and start using it!! These modules offer TWO completely independent throttle controlled engine sounds which are proportional to two throttle stick positions.

The sounds and configuration data are stored in files on the microSD Card so changing sounds or configurations is as simple as swapping in a new microSD Card. A USB microSD Card Reader is included. For those who prefer not to use a computer to reconfigure their module we sell additional microSD Cards pre-loaded with sounds.

Up to 16 non-engine sounds can be controlled using one or two spare R/C channels. For model tanks and naval ships, the second proportional "engine" sound can be used as a proportional gun turret rotation sound. One to four on-board switched outputs can be purchased for CAD$8.00 each that can be used to flash LEDs in synchronism with gunfire or Morse Code sounds, or to switch other auxiliary circuits.

The module comes pre-installed with various Sound Clips that you choose from our extensive Sound Clip Library or send your own favourites to us for installation (free of charge).

If the sound you want is not in our current library, tell us what you want and we'll see if we can find it for you. The microSD Card includes a Windows 7/ Vista/XP SFXPC4 application and the free Audacity sound editor. Also included are two 300mm long servo leads with a male Futaba style connector on BOTH ends. The mini-B USB port to connect to the PC is the same as used on most digital cameras so you can use the USB cable that came with the camera. We can also supply a mini-B USB cable at CAD$11.99.

Be sure to also order loudspeakers, optional LED flasher/switched outputs (below), LEDs, extra microSD Cards and any extra cables you may need. The sound module includes 2 male-male servo leads. For these go to our Accessories Page.

The standard shipping charge is CAD$25.00 which covers the minimum shipping method of Canada Post Small Packet Air service. This amount covers the cost of mailing a sound module only.

This service is insured up to a maximum of CAD$100 and does not have a tracking number.
If the package gets lost in the mail you will have to pay the difference between CAD$100 and the total original order value, including the shipping charge, to have us send a replacement order out.

If you want the package to be insured for the full order value and also have a tracking number, this requires the Canada Post ExpressPost service which is more expensive, but is more secure. You can choose this "ADD-ON" to cover the difference between the ExpressPost cost and the standard shipping charge.

We reserve the right to charge more postage if loudspeakers are ordered due to their bulk and weight.

Note: This is not an additional item of Hardware. They are built into the sound module and are enabled by us in software.
These 5 Amp switched outputs can be used to switch auxiliary loads such as lamps, LEDS, low current smoke units etc. and can be triggered by any sound clip and engine Start-Up, or engine Shutdown sounds. They can also be configured to flash in sync. with any sound clip such as gunfire or Morse Code. Configuration and setup is performed using our Windows SFXPC4/3 SW.

No additional external circuitry is required. They are provided by us for the charge of CAD$8.00 each when ordered at the same time as an SFX6 or SFX7 module. They cannot be added once the sound module has been shipped, unless the module is returned to us.
